Where is Rylstone?

Rylstone is a historic village located on the western edge of the Blue Mountains, approximately 238 km northwest of Sydney—a drive of around 3.5 hours. It forms part of the picturesque Mudgee wine region in NSW.

Is there a dedicated work space?

Yes! There is an office set up with stand up/sit down desk, office chair, two screens with cables to plug your laptop into, plus a printer/scanner.

Is there Wifi?

Yes. We have NBN with typical speeds of 100mb upload and 40mb download

Is linen provided?

Yes. All sheets, towels, face washers and tea towels are provided.

Is there a fully equipped kitchen?

Yes. All cutlery, crockery, glassware, cookware and utensils are provided. We also have a Nespresso pod coffee machine with pods provided, air fryer, kettle, toaster, microwave, ramakins, platters, cheese knives.

Is food provided?

We provide basic pantry items such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, salt/pepper, olive oil, vinegar, cling wrap, baking paper, foil, herbs/spices, range of sauces and fresh locally baked sourdough.

What heating and cooling options are there?

We have ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, a log fire with wood provided and ceiling fans.

Do you provide electric blankets?

Yes - both beds are equipped with an electric blanket

How do we access the property?

There is a coded key box located at the back door where you enter the property. The code will be emailed to you the day before you are due to check in.

Will there be an instruction manual?

Yes, this will be left on the kitchen bench and will detail how to use everything in the cottage. There will be contacts for emergencies as well as for any assistance required during your stay.

What are check in/out times?

Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am. We are happy to accommodate an earlier check in and later check out should it be available.
